£8,220 compensation for broken ankle

Irwin Mitchell report that £8,220 in injury compensation was paid out to a roofer that fell from scaffolding whilst at work. It was proved that the fall was the cause of materials left on the scaffolding from which the worker fell and £8,220 was paid in compensation.

£75,000 compensation for broken leg

Damages of £75,000 were successfully obtained by Irwin Mitchell for a pipe fitter and welder that fell at work causing a seriously broken leg. The worker fell from laddering whilst at work and his leg was broken so badly that he required skin grafts and six operations. Due to the seriousness and circumstances of the injury he was awarded £75,000 in injury compensation.
