£2,750 injury compensation for tenosynovitis
In September 2002 an IT Assessments Officer was awarded £2,750 in injury compensation by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for having developed Extensor Tenosynovitis in the right wrist at work. The County Council conceded that they had breached Regulations 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 of Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations and were ordered to pay £2,750 compensation to the claimant.
